We want every project to end with you getting exactly what you need. This Refund Policy explains how deposits, cancellations and refunds work for BigiByte services. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Fixed-price projects
- Before work starts: if you cancel before we begin work, we refund your deposit in full.
- After work starts: if you cancel during the project, we charge for the work completed up to that point, deliver that work to you, and refund any remaining balance you have paid.
- After delivery: if a deliverable does not meet the agreed specification, tell us within the warranty period (14 days unless your Statement of Work says otherwise). We will fix it at no cost. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund the fees for that deliverable.
2. Monthly plans and retainers
- Monthly plans are billed in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period.
- We do not refund partial months, except where we have failed to provide the service and have not fixed the issue after being told about it.
3. Data and lead lists
Because datasets can be copied once delivered, they are non-refundable once delivered. If a delivered list falls short of the accuracy or volume agreed in the Statement of Work (for example, bounced emails above the agreed threshold), we will replace the affected records or credit their value.
4. What is not refundable
- Work already completed and approved.
- Third-party costs paid on your behalf, such as proxies, APIs, hosting or software licences.
- Issues caused by changes you or third parties make after delivery, including changes to source websites outside a maintenance plan.
5. Marketplace orders
Orders placed through Fiverr, Upwork or other marketplaces are refunded through that marketplace, under its own resolution rules.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@bigibyte.com with your project name, invoice number and the reason for your request. We reply within 3 business days and pay approved refunds to the original payment method within 10 business days.
